Lt. Col. (Ret’d) Andrew Sewell serves as the Chairman of the Jamaica Legion, playing a central leadership role in advancing the organisation’s mission to support Jamaica’s veterans, widows, and families of service members. He brings extensive military experience and a longstanding commitment to veteran welfare, organisational leadership, and community service. 

A retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Jamaica Defence Force, Lt. Col. Sewell has represented the Jamaica Legion at national remembrance events, partnerships with the Jamaica Defence Force, and public initiatives aimed at raising funds and awareness for veteran support. His leadership helps steer the Legion’s strategic direction and strengthen its outreach across the island. 

He holds the rank of Justice of the Peace (JP), reflecting his wider contributions within the Jamaican community.

He is also a Justice of the Peace (JP), reflecting his continued commitment to public service, leadership, and community engagement.
