WO1 (Ret’d) Errol McKenzie, JP is a distinguished military veteran and national leader in veterans’ advocacy. A Warrant Officer Class One (Ret’d), Mr. McKenzie devoted forty-one years of exemplary service to the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), culminating in his final appointment as Force Sergeant Major—the most senior enlisted position within the Force. This role placed him at the pinnacle of enlisted leadership, where he was responsible for upholding discipline, professionalism, and the welfare of soldiers across the JDF.
Following his retirement from active military service, Mr. McKenzie’s commitment to service did not waver. He has dedicated his post-military career to advancing the welfare, dignity, and support of Jamaica’s veterans through his leadership within the Jamaica Legion R.C.E.L. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the organization and also chairs the Finance Committee, where he provides strategic oversight and stewardship to ensure the effective management of resources in support of veterans and their families.
